Upon meeting Kelly at a climate rally in our conservative county park, I felt her urgency and passion to change the climate trajectory. Later we met up to try to impact local issues related to climate and the environment. It was then that I joined a global organization called the Climate Reality Project and became a trained Climate Reality Leadership Corps member along with 10,000 other virtual trainees in 2020.
